ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages
The Centre offers various options for ESOL learners to improve their English speaking, listening and writing skills.
You can visit our Conversation Café drop-in sessions, start as a beginner on our Everyday ESOL course or study formal ESOL qualifications from Entry Level to Level 2.
Conversation Café - drop in sessions
Come and practice your English in an informal and friendly atmosphere with other ESOL learners, while enjoying tea, coffee and biscuits!
Every Thursday in term time at 1.00 till 3.00 at our Crosland Moor Community Learning Centre.
Everyday ESOL
A fully funded 6-week course for those over 19 years old or are unemployed and would like to build their confidence with their English Language by improving reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
ESOL Qualifications - Delivered by Kirklees College
Kirklees College deliver Entry Level to Level 2 ESOL qualifications at Crosland Moor Community Centre. This is ideal for learners who feel that a large college environment is not suitable for them.
